From the seller: "Up for grabs here is a very cool Revox A77 in 2T, High Speed (15 IPS) configuration with some super rad Nashville provenance.
This deck was pulled from Cinderella Sound Studios, one of music city’s oldest and longest running independent recording facilities. In its past life it may very well have played a small part in any one of the legendary recordings made in that space. (Bob Dylan? Roy Orbison? Linda Ronstadt? Maybe!)
This deck appears to be in good shape but will need a good CLA to get it back up to spec. Powers on, pulls tape, and passes audio — though it likely needs a new pinch roller, thorough cleaning, and calibration. Switches, pots and buttons all seem to operate as they should and the VU meters are working quite well (with lights!)
All in all this is a really cool piece of Nashville history and a kickass reel to reel with tons of potential!"
