Great condition. Made in Japan. Fully tested and working. An amazing piece of gear that has tons of I/O capabilities. Stepped gain preamp pots, located at the bottom of the channel atop the fader path; sweepable Mid EQs, high and low shelving on all channels; talkback and oscillator onboard; full metering capabilities for outputs; stereo channels; 2x 6 channel mic summing channels. 3 main outputs, built for theater sound but incredibly useful in a studio setting as a mono summed out. Stereo aux out with a large fader. 8 total matrix outs!
Insert send and return on all channels. Can be used as direct outs. 4 main busses, all with outs. LCR pan pots on all channels including LC, RC, etc. Phase, 48V, and HPF on all channels.
4 aux sends, 4 returns. Aux sends are pre/post selectable. Signal and peak indicators on all channels. LCR monitors outs in addition to main outs. Unfortunately no headphone jack on this console, it has been removed by a previous owner.
Balanced and unbalanced stereo line in channels. Dimmable switch lights and VU lights.
Includes extremely rare Ramsa power supply and cable, and road case (slightly warped; unable to close completely at one latch location).
Although originally designed for theater installation, this console was previously used in a recording studio. There are more of these consoles that have made their way into recording studios due to their great preamp sound and extended routing capabilities. Someone will really enjoy what this console has to offer. I imagine a studio recording rock, jazz, or funk bands, dub, and especially anything grungy, will go very well with this console. Ramsas are especially great when you cut all your sources across it. There are tons of ways to send signals out to equipment and there’s lots of options on how to return that sound to the console.
