Very good condition. Just fully serviced by Cole Picks Vintage. This microphone houses a unique combination of both pressure and velocity ribbons to make what RCA called at the time the perfect cardioid pattern! It has a nice dark sound to it when tested with a vocal. There are no pattern selectors on this model, further differing it from the later 77-D and DXs. This model is best used on high SPL sources or with high gain preamps, as it requires more gain than other ribbons due to its earlier design.
