600 unit modified with 1/4” direct out, IEC power inlet, and has 1 mic input and 1 line input, both submixed to 1 output
Absolutely fantastic tube mic pres, especially with ribbon mics
600 unit works great for submixing 2 mics, especially when one has higher output than the other
These sound incredible on drums, bass, electric guitars, acoustic guitars, and vocals
601 meter sometimes is sticky when first powered on and used
Ampex rackmount panel also available
Includes Ampex 601-2 case and tape transport with power cable (tape transport is untested)
